Positive: Breakfast was ok, standard swedish breakfast buffet with ok Quality, setup well for skiing being right next to the slopes. Room met our needs, wasn't luxury but did the job.

Negative: Staff were hit and miss, some seem to get visible annoyed at my children but others were friendly and accommodating. one incident at breakfast left a sour taste where my curious son asked what was in a container and the visibly annoyed women just snatched it out his hand and put it back without saying a word, I confronted her on this but she just walked away. Just a bit of kindness towards the curiosity was needed, I was standing right next to him and nothing was in danger. Stuff like this makes you not want to come back.

Positive: I’ve stayed a few times as it is one nice hotel on the slope. Very clean and comfortable. Food is good, breakfast is ok.

Negative: Could do with some more facilities like exercise classes and a spa. You can book a sauna, but it seems a bit awkward.

Positive: The location, cleanliness and rooms were super, the staff was really friendly and welcoming, the quality and choice of breakfast and dinner was super. It was great that there’s a ping pong table and some other games in the basement to get some movement in with the kids. Extra plus for the hotel being walking distance from the train station even for younger kids.

Negative: The two improvement suggestions I have is to have the family rooms equipped with a small fridge and water kettle. Also the play corner for younger kids was a bit run down and not in a cozy area, but more in a kind of basement hallway, so not very enjoyable to be at. I feel like a good quality play room with good wooden toys and a few gym mats would make a big difference. Personally I feel that furry toys in a communal kids play set up are not a hygienic choice.

Positive: Very cosy and comfortable rooms looking out over the forest with beautiful autumn colors. The hotel is located right next to Vildriket and by the ski slopes. Very clean and silent. The breakfast was excellent.

Negative: Nothing. The only thing you should be aware of if traveling with elderly or young children is that the road up or down to the center of Järvsö is quite steep when walking.
